[What the role is] The Centre of Innovation for Electronics and IoT (COI-EIoT) at Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking a Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to planning, designing, and developing innovative IoT-connected electronic products and systems based on customer requirements. You will have the opportunity to explore new IoT technologies, and work with industry partners to deliver successful projects. [What you will be working on] · Assist in planning, managing, and undertaking project development with industry partners. · Design and develop software solutions for IoT-connected electronic products and systems based on customer requirements. [What we are looking for] · Qualification in the relevant field such as as Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering · Proficient in at least one programming language, such as C# or Python. · Familiarity with database and web development. · Experience with mobile application development will be an advantage · Experience with communication and messaging protocols such as TCP/IP and MQTT is a plus.
