[What the role is] Mechanical Engineer You will be part of a team working on project management of large scale commercial and integrated development works. [What you will be working on] Review and manage different stages of project from feasibility studies, concept, schematic to design development for integrated development projects Develop project directives, outlines, projections, time lines, resource studies, and strategies to meet pertinent building/construction rules and regulations Work with various stakeholder on the users’ requirements Consultation with regulatory authorities and liaison with relevant stakeholders Review shop drawings, RFI, material samples, method statement, etc Review and analyze engineering and system design and/or specifications Project manage the different mechanical and electrical engineering systems (HVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, chillers, Plumbing and Sanitary etc) Project management to ensure project is kept on schedule including supervision of work progress, resolve ground issue with contractor and relevant stakeholders, conduct progress meeting [What we are looking for] Background in Mechanical Engineering (recognized by PEB) Good knowledge of building codes and regulations At least 10 years of working experience in design and development of large scale commercial and integrated development Good communications and writing skills The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
