Data engineering experience is critical, as well as knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and BI tools. Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP is beneficial.The successful candidate should have strong data engineering experience, preferably in an agency or consulting environment. They will join a growing multi-disciplined technical team with a strong community, team culture, and an opinionated but collaborative mindset. They will be expected to work closely with both local, national, and offshore teams, delivering quality solutions that meet our high standards.Core Responsibilities● ​​Assumes responsibility for ETL design and development, and data quality test.● Creates and manages the relevant technical design documentation and ensures the documents completeness and accuracy● Ensures testing is carried out in a rigorous fashion resulting in production of high-quality deliverables● Ensures that data architecture is implemented according to the design● Ensures solution delivered uses existing standards and frameworks where possible and appropriate● Adopts a flexible approach to completing workload to ensure timely delivery and reinforces commitment to delivery and quality within the technical team, including offshore development centres● Anticipates and reports delivery issues associated with project clearly and at the earliest possible opportunity, to the Project Manager and/or client, and assumes responsibility for resolution of issues● Plans and estimates project activities accurately and reports anticipated deviations clearly and at the earliest possible opportunity to Project Manager● Assist in preparing client meeting agendas, facilitating productive client meetings, and communicating decisions effectively to team members● Conducts self, and communicates, professionally with clients and colleagues● Provides 360° feedback for team members where appropriate● Works proactively with Project Manager to ensure completion of project reviewsRequired Skills● Essential: Experience in developing data processing and analytics solutions in a digital agency or IT consultancy as part of a multi-disciplinary team● Essential: Hands-on experience in building ETL process with SQL on Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL● Essential: Experience in building and designing BI data sets for various reports on Power BI / Tableau / Looker● Essential: Solid problem-solving skills, ability to dissect complex data, investigate and identify anomalies, evaluate and reach appropriate solutions● Essential: Ability to collaborate with global teams on international projects.
