Job Description: Participate as a member of the systems development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance. Contribute to the development of estimation, design, installation, configuration, integration and productionising of information technology system components. Ensure rapid, automated and safe deployment of technical solutions. Participate in the assimilation of platforms into their ecosystems, concentrating on all aspects of the stack including hardware and networking, data handling and the flow through to the application and its integration points. Focus on non-functional requirements such as security, reliability, performance, maintainability, scalability and usability. Provide local technical support and assistance to non-technical members of the team. Take on support and technical troubleshooting responsibility for production systems. Drive continuous improvements for the system and team processes. Responsibilities: Development of planned changes ranging from small CTB type tasks to large bank-wide projects. Technical Analysis of changes, effort estimation, solution design, development and unit testing Work with QA team to ensure timely defect remediation and proper test coverage End to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Business Analysts and Testing team. Drive solution design discussions with wider team and mentor/train more junior members of the team Experience in: 8+ years of Murex Datamart experience on 3.1 Good experience on Autosys EOD scheduling Advanced SQL Advanced financial market understanding covering different asset classes Unix Nice to have skills: MxML Experience DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.) Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership Experience with FXCash, FX Derivatives, Commodities If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
