Job Description: Job Title ICG Americas Business Control Unit Corporate Title Vice President Location New York, NY Overview The role will be part of the Global ICG Business Management Control team. The Business Control Unit plays an important role in monitoring and mitigating Non-Financial Risk in Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC). This function acts as part of a Global team and will be joining the existing team based in New York. What We Offer You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits Educational resources, matching gift, and volunteer programs What You’ll Do Be the primary point of contact for all business control and non-financial risk matters for ICG Americas – including addressing ad hoc control issues, queries from sales staff, Second Line of Defense teams and management Manage the Americas Risk Control Assessment for ICG including production of the quarterly report, monthly dynamic review, assessment of emerging risks and scenarios Own items in the remediation book of work relevant to the Americas including audit findings, Matter Requiring Immediate Attention items, read across observations and Compliance Testing findings. Pro-actively identify areas for improvement in the control environment Work closely with regional Business Management, the global ICG Business Control Unit, and Business Control teams across FIC, Origination and Advisory, and Corporate Bank Sales to leverage best practices, ensure consistency and drive consistent change How You’ll Lead Provide management information and analysis to support senior management decision making Oversee and in some cases operate various level 1 controls such as Revenue Credit monitoring, recertification of access entitlements, voice recording controls, operational risk events and Sales Trader Workflow Skills You’ll Need Extensive experience in the banking domain Knowledge of the FIC business and non-financial risk management Confident to question the status quo business practice / existing control framework Highly motivated and willing to take on a challenge Skills That Will Help You Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfort dealing with senior management on a daily basis Excellent analytical skills and ability to formulate clearly and present information in a compelling manner Self-motivated Self-starter Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in New York City is $180K to $250K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
