Med Device Compliance: • Divisional expert with extensive experience applying industry standards in device development. • Act as independent reviewer and advisor for the creation or refinement of engineering documentation, such as the Design History file. • Lead the development of standards and regulations, working closely with functions within and across business. General Responsibilities: • Lead cooperative efforts with RD, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success. Lead and support team members to create or improve procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology requirements. • Develop and utilize tools to enhance the company’s product/process development or performance. • Mentor and grow technical talent within discipline/function. • Lead and support complex product development for cross functional teams, influencing multiple technical areas of expertise. • Hold team accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy and drive to meet business priorities. • Mentor, develop and influence across the business, intentionally building divisional relationships. • Identify and implement design and process solutions and ensure they are sustained over time. • Lead code reviews for projects/systems as independent reviewer applying design principals, coding standards and best practices. • Collaboratively review and update coding standards. Programming Languages: • Lead system software implementation using programming skills in .Net, C#, Django or Flask Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns Expertise with C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML Experience building single page applications (SPA) and progressive web apps (PWA) Strong understanding of web and browser technologies Experience building RESTful web services using Web API Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle or mySQL and writing SQL queries Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 6+ years of web development experience. Experience with Azure and AWS Experience in JQUERY, JSON Extensive experience in open source frameworks Design new components applying various concepts design concepts and patterns. Big Data Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS Deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Devops, Docker Experience creating conceptual and logical database models Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs Experience developing and deploying services to Azure Design and Development Skills: • Collaboratively lead strategies for integrated development environments (IDE) structures for projects. • Collaboratively lead strategies with tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code coverage and techniques for analyzing software. Provide guidelines and development standards for engineers in design, development and testing. Review existing architecture, code and build roadmap of future architecture • Collaborate with engineers and DevOps to lead and implement strategies for integration and deployment processes using either Docker or Kubernetes or Jenkins Software Process Skills: • Lead the adoption of Software Development Life Cycle process changes and best practices. Provide strategic planning and guidance for project based SDLC decisions. • Lead the adoption of Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability best practices and tools. Expertise in Agile / Scrum • Lead teams in creating estimates for code implementation including time/resources for projects. • Regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
