What you will be doing With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to: develop and validate control algorithms using model-based approaches, ensuring the safety and reliability of power electronics and electrical drives, define, model, and simulate control system architectures, integrate control algorithms seamlessly with both software and hardware platforms, verify algorithm performance using techniques such as model-in-the-loop (MIL), processor-in-the-loop (PIL), and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations, innovate, prototype, and implement electric health monitoring functions, adhere to aerospace quality management systems. To be successful in this role you will need to: hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechatronics, possess a strong background in controlling power electronics and electromechanical systems, utilize MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm validation and code generation effectively, apply hands-on experience with inverter systems and drive commissioning, testing, and deployment, understand FPGA and SoC for inverter control applications, familiarize with safety-oriented development processes like ARP4754A, DO-178C, and DO-331, demonstrate a goal-oriented and structured approach, combined with initiative, creativity, and reliability, have fluency in English or German.
