Each Function and Region needs to ensure that both short-term ‘Perform’ actions as well as ‘Transform’ initiatives are in line with the 2030 strategy and the outlined strategic priorities and choices. We are looking for a Strategy Partner for our Chief Operating Officer and their extended leadership team to ensure that the end-to-end transformation of the respective ELT area is aligned with Maersk’s strategy; drive the corporate strategy agenda of Maersk and the respective ELT area together with the Executive Leadership Team and their respective Leadership teams. You are the focal point when it comes to strategy in the respective ELT area and are jointly accountable for the success of APMM’s long-term strategy. Responsibilities: Help the team of respective ELT member to operationalize the strategy in a coherent and coordinated way: Translate the Global 2030 strategy to 'what does it mean’ for the respective ELT area in the long-term (e.g., implications for asset network, infrastructure, competitiveness, commercial offerings, etc.) Review and refine as needed existing strategies in the respective ELT areas Be the thought partner to the ELT member and the respective Leadership team to jointly define and accelerate critical strategic priorities Prioritize strategic initiatives together with respective Leadership Team and orchestrate action plans and timelines, considering interdependencies with other CEN functions and Regions Run strategy projects with respective extended Leadership Teams and pull in additional resources as needed. Own and drive APMM corporate/cross-ELT area strategy work jointly with the other Strategy Partners Set the foundations for strategy implementation: Support to bring the relevant perspectives and insights of the respective ELT area into other ongoing strategic work and conversations, ensuring awareness of the respective ELT’s priorities Ensure proper implementation plan and governance are in place for executing strategic priorities. Promote knowledge sharing across CEN and Regions to ensure coordination and learning. Support the strategy documentation, communication, and cascade across the relevant parts of the organization: Participate in Leadership Team meetings and offsites to bring the strategic updates and clarify any relevant questions – co-own and co-drive the strategy agenda. Be the focal point for the respective ELT area when it comes to strategy-related questions and clarification. What ‘good looks like’ for this role: Being perceived as the trusted partner and strategic advisor by the respective Executive Leader and proactively building relationships with the ELT members Leadership Team Being proactively pulled into the various relevant Leadership meetings and having a seat at the table where your strategic perspective is required and valued. Developing, owning, and actively driving the strategy agenda for the respective ELT area knowing what and when to push the organization to progress the transformation journey, and ensuring timelines are kept as planned Driving with success the respective strategy projects required to push the transformation and ensuring alignment with other Strategy Partners on priorities timelines.
