Join our Completions Wellbore Intervention Team We are the leader in well construction and production. Partner with the Best As Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for: Assisting with the assessment of the manufacturing process Determining plant requirements to maintain safety, quality and cost effective manufacture, eliminating non-value adding business activities/processes; Implementing initiatives to improve all aspects of the process contributing to the reduction of costs and improved process flow Identifying, planning and coordinating specialized tooling or gauges necessary for component manufacture, minimizing production delays Assisting with Quality Notification and RCA process, ensuring Corrective and Preventive Actions are implemented Participating in engineering design reviews to provide manufacturing feasibility input. Any Other Duties as Required Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: High school diploma / GED Minimum 4 years experience in manufacturing and machining environments (preferably machining/ designing metal components/ assembly/ test) Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including e-mail, Word, Excel and Powerpoint Ability to understand complex manufacturing drawings, process instructions and procedures Experience solving manufacturing problems in relation to the manufacture of tools, including methodology, technical specifications, complex engineering designs Desired Characteristics Experience machining or processing different types of materials. An understanding of the limitations and complexities of manufacturing processes. Experience using SAP. Ability to use CAD (ideally Solidworks) to produce drawings for manufacture of tooling requirements Knowledge and use of analytical and problem solving skills including Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and problem solving methodologies Experience working in a fast paced team and using own initiative. Ability to lead and influence small teams.
