The Technician position will be responsible for testing production boards using multiple test platforms and troubleshooting failures to the component level. The Technician position is a 2nd shift opportunity. As Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for: Focusing on testing monitor systems and other final assembly products Focusing on productivity, safety, quality and cost improvements Executing functional tests and troubleshooting to component level Acting independently on projects and special test department tasks using technical abilities Developing skills to become a technology resource for the test unit and other production areas, as directed Working individually and on teams to improve various areas of the department Learning and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of production and test Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have an Associate’s Degree in Technology from an accredited college or university Be available to work first shift- Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm/overtime and weekends as needed Work with approved chemicals. Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs Work overtime, as required Desired Characteristics: Willingness to learn and think creatively Ability to work well in a team environment and independently Externally focused and able to consider customer needs and make a commitment to quality Safety-minded Self-motivated and directed SAP Experience MRP Experience SMT solder / De-solder experience Effective interpersonal and communication skills Good PC skills such as SAP, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
