Join our Engineering team Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection solutions that help customers achieve the highest level of asset reliability possible. Partner with the best As a Machinery Diagnostics Engineer, you are tasked to provide customers service solutions to address critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring system. This will include evaluating machinery condition based on rotor dynamic analysis. As a Machinery Diagnostic Services Field Engineer, you will be responsible for: Diagnosing machinery problems based upon vibration data, operational data, and customer communications Building relationships with customers to provide a high-level of service delivery, becoming their trusted advisor for their rotating equipment health Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service Defining KPI's to analyze and measure performance to propose improvements and action plans Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained Overseeing preparation of invoices, technical documents, and manufacturing records for orders, ensuring compliance with internal documentation system Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or associates degree with 4 years of industry experience. 2+ years of industry experience in either the Power Generation industry, Chemical Plants, Refining, Metallurgical, or other similar industries Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with rotating equipment found throughout the Power Generation industry, Chemical Plants, Refining, Metallurgical, or other similar industries Be able to communicate complex technical information to customers and stakeholders Have ability to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements Be able to travel regionally to work with customers on-site up to 80% of the time Have a passport (or able to obtain a passport) and hold a valid driver’s license Demonstrate your proactive approach to work and flexibility to adapt to ever-changing conditions and new challenges Eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential).
