Job Description: Details of the role and how it fits into the team - Corporate Bank - Trade Finance Lending / Documentary Trade / Documentary Trade Structuring As part of our Documentary Trade Structuring team you will deliver sophisticated solutions for every stage of a client’s trade value chain. As Structuring Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the closing of high value Requests for Proposals and pitches that include complex Documentary Trade structures. This is accomplished in collaboration with a Senior Structurer and relevant product, coverage, and infrastructure specialists. You will be based in Frankfurt and your responsibilities include but are not limited to. Your key responsibilities Support Senior Structurers and Coverage Specialists in successfully marketing and selling Deutsche Bank’s Documentary Trade solutions and services towards a variety of client segments ranging from regional midcaps to global multinational corporates around the world. Prepare client specific proposals that consider risk and revenue relevant topics Coordinate tailor-made structures with relevant specialists/partners including Group Legal, Product Management, Investment Bank, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Distribution, Credit Risk Management, Trade Finance Lending Senior Management, etc. as applicable Where required, join client conversations where complex solutions are directly presented to the customer in partnership with Product Specialists and Coverage and bank syndicates, if applicable Prepare proposals, take the lead in responding to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information and customer QA documents as well as coordinating intra- and cross-regionally as appropriate Support ongoing product and process improvements as well as strategic projects (e.g. ESG agenda, etc.) Your skills and experiences University degree or equivalent professional experience as well as a good understanding of all Documentary Trade products including but not limited to trade guarantees, letters of credit and trade loans; credit analysis experience would be beneficial Analytical attitude and strong attention to detail Organisational skills, i.e. the ability to support in multiple transactions/projects simultaneously Ability to solve problems in a creative and mostly independent manner as well as the ability to navigate in a complex organisation, build relationships and work collaboratively with infrastructure and other product teams, other control functions and external clients/financial institutions/cooperation partners Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and/or English – additional language skills are considered beneficial Excellent knowledge of MS Office products and openness towards any newly available software and IT-systems What we will offer you As the benefits may vary marginally from location to location, it is advisable to use the link on the career page ********/ Posting time: 04.11.-17.11.2023 AT level: TG8 Equivalent classification (ETV Postbank): TG 6-7 Equivalent "Beamtenbesoldung": LGr B A8 - A9vz; LGr C A10 - A11 Our values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
