Job Description Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or related field Minimum 5 yrs of experience as a salesforce developer Salesforce Expertise: Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform and its various components. Proficiency in Apex programming language for custom development. Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Lightning Components. Understanding of Salesforce data model and security model. CPQ Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Salesforce CPQ (formerly known as Steelbrick CPQ). Ability to configure and customize CPQ solutions based on business requirements. Experience with Price Rules, Discount Schedules, Product Rules, and other CPQ functionalities. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript. Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React). Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs for integrating Salesforce with other systems. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Integration Skills: Experience in integrating Salesforce CPQ with other business systems, such as ERP or billing platforms. Knowledge of middleware tools like MuleSoft or Salesforce Integration Cloud. Customization and Configuration: Proficiency in customizing Salesforce CPQ objects, layouts, and workflows. Ability to create custom validation rules, triggers, and automation. Testing and Debugging: Thorough testing and debugging skills to ensure the stability and reliability of CPQ solutions. Temperament Ability to adapt to and assist colleagues through change and support change management processes. Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate with the business and IT organizations.
