Job Description The Role: In this position, you will be responsible to maintain a valid and current production plan by managing the resource loadings in support of customer requirements and the business plan over the planning horizon. You will be responsible for: Continuously improving the planning process to help meet all planning department KPI’s. Maintaining a plan to meet customer requirements and managing resource loadings (human machine and material) Planning optimise run length to achieve efficiency and target stock levels Ensuring materials are on hand to meet production needs Planning process maintained in consultation with production and engineering to allow for any non-production periods required (e.g. machine overhaul). To be successful in this role you must have: In depth understanding of BPCS MRP planning. Strong understanding / knowledge of advanced planning optimisation tools Experience in planning and scheduling complex manufacturing site. Experience in dealing with seasonal demand and capacity constrained resources while balancing the conflicting goals of production, customer service and inventory. Benefits: Monthly lunch shouts.
