Talk to us about how these arrangements might work for you. The successful applicant will join a team tasked to manage the Event Streaming Platform for the bank. On-prem and in Cloud. You will be expected to continually improve the services through DevOps model, build the cluster and ensure the platform is running 24*7. We’re interested in hearing from people who Have experience in Software Engineering/DevOps/SRE/System Engineering in a Cloud based environment. Possesses hands-on technical experience working in a public cloud environment either in AWS or Azure would be ideal. Are passionate about Cloud/DevOps/Automation and possess a keen interest to solve complex problems in a systematic approach. Good understanding of Kafka As part of this role you are required to be on on-call roaster. Tech skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; Highly proficient working with various scripting/programming languages such as; PowerShell, Bash, Python, Go, Java, Typescript Capable of working with CI/CD tools like; Jenkins, BitBucket, Bamboo CodeBuild, CodePipeline, TeamCity, Artifactory, Docker Registry, ArgoCD. Experienced with distributed version control systems; GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab Can demonstrate experience working with container technology such as; Docker and Kubernetes/EKS Confident working with Infrastructure as Code will be highly desirable; Cloudformation, CDK, Terraform, Ansible Kafka experience is desirable.
