What you will be doing: With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to: Participate in the specification, planning, and implementation of test rigs in the required laboratory infrastructure and aerospace drive train applications. Operate and maintain test rigs for electrical machine testing Perform functional and acceptance testing of electrical machines and inverters Define verification means and test cases, answering requirements at the subsystem and equipment level. Perform test analysis and test documentation, mainly at the subsystem and equipment level. To be successful in this role you will need to: Obtain a degree in electrical, aerospace, or mechatronics engineering or a technical qualification as an electrician or technician in the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace, or testing. Have several years of work experience in equipment and component testing, preferably in the aerospace sector, and a very good understanding of electric drive systems, as well as dedicated testing strategies, methods, and standards. Have practical experience and knowledge about handling of high-voltage equipment (DGUV Vorschrift 3 or DIN VDE 0105-100) and relevant standards in electric industry Experience in requirement management, test build up, test automation, data acquisition, instrumentation, analysis tools and presentation of results Be proficient in English language and German proficiency is an asset We are an equal opportunities employer.
