Main Responsibilities:

Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and safe for our customers
Utilize Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs such as tire replacement or rotation, lubrication and replacement of vehicle components, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance
Learn new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching
Assist with other projects and tasks assigned by your supervisor

General Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair is a plus
Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
Valid driver's license
Problem-solving skills and comfort using tools
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team and in an outdoor environment
Basic computer skills


Physical Requirements:
The physical and mental demands of this job include:

Ability to understand instructions, guidelines, and other information
Visual and verbal communication abilities, including close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Frequent movement, including standing, walking, and sitting
Use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, as well as reach with hands and arms
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
