Main Responsibilities:

Maintaining and ensuring the safety of our customers' vehicles.
Using Penske's tools and technologies for logging, researching, and completing repairs.
Performing preventative maintenance repairs, such as tire replacements, lubrication and replacements of vehicle components, electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance.
Learning new skills through our technician training and hands-on coaching.
Working on other assigned projects and tasks.

General Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
Valid driver's license.
The ability to solve problems and comfortable using tools.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent movement, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, reaching, touching, handling, feeling, and operating tools or controls.
Ability to work at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Visual and auditory capability to navigate the work environment safely.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs/23kg regularly and up to 100lbs/45kg occasionally.
