The Media Center of Excellence team at Workday leads paid media planning and investments across global markets targeted toward C-level decision makers. Our team collaborates closely with internal business leads and external agency partners to drive awareness and leads responsibly. About the Role We are looking for an "Senior Media Marketing Manager to help us continue to grow our online presence and fuel pipeline growth. Online marketing plays a critical role to our success and this is an excellent opportunity to join our small but mighty team. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Demand Generation Marketing Operations. Responsibilities Scale existing paid search, paid social, and other paid online programs–expanding keyword coverage, experimenting with ad copy, targeting, landing page experience, etc. across Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Manage and coordinate new SEO projects to develop and optimize awesome content for attracting target audiences to our web properties Work closely with Product Marketing, Creative, and Copywriting departments as well as external agencies to manage projects and bring them to successful completion Execute A/B tests, collect and analyze data, and continuously improve our online campaigns Proactively identify fact-based trends and opportunities to improve performance Maintain clear communication with team members and share optimization insights Keep up with the latest organic, CRO, social, and paid search marketing trends and platform features Education, Experience and Skills To succeed in this role you should be someone others might describe as: A critical and analytical thinker, curious, and a problem-solver who takes initiative Results oriented, creative, resourceful, detail oriented, and highly organized Fun, ethical, and a passionate team player who has a sense of humor Possessing excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Possessing content writing and editing skills These technical skills are a must: Strong Microsoft Excel skills Very comfortable analyzing web analytics in tools such as Google Analytics You’re comfortable making changes to HTML and CSS to tweak web pages. You already understand and are completely comfortable speaking about topics such as CTR, CPC, CPL, MQL, ROI and understanding how these metrics can affect each other Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent 2+ years experience managing performance-based search engine marketing campaigns with significant spend It’d be a lot cooler if... You have some comfort working with JavaScript and jQuery Building a report and pulling data from SFDC doesn’t scare you You had any online marketing certification (Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, etc.) You have previous marketing automation experience (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.), especially building landing pages About You Senior Media Marketing Manager: Works on the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function. Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives; provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers; and supports public relations through researching, writing and editing press releases. Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
