Partner with the best We are hiring for multiple Machinist roles for our Turtle Creek, PA location. The Machinist will be responsible for operating machinery for specific projects with limited supervisory. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for: Setting-up and operating special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe and/or mill), and/or numerical control (NC) and/or CNC programs and machining centers Fabricating metallic and non-metallic parts that hold to the high quality machine standards required within the organization. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements. Starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ yrs of machining experience Must be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, drill presses, vertical and horizontal mills (floor model) Ability to travel up to 30% and work shift work when needed Must demonstrate intermediate skill level (indicate part, turn OD's, and qualify ID and OD) on at least two machines; CNC mill, CNC lathe, and NC (figure feed rates), manual mill, brouch, drill press, rework lathe/press lathe.
