Job Description of Maintenance Supervisor

BASIC SALARY - 3900, Other Allowance - ********Food & accommodation and transportation provided by company

• Core activities will include: conducting periodic maintenance checks, planning equipment upgrades and machinery modifications, identifying faults, investigating equipment breakdowns and monitoring the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out.
• Maintaining and repairing the Kitchen, Bakery & Laundry machinery, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical distribution boards & Mechanical system within the location.
• Responsible for the procurement of new components for existing equipment or replacing the entire set of machines after a prescribed period of usage.
• Maintenance and servicing elevators, air compressors and booster pumps.
• Maintaining, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment related to domestic and industrial fields.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records pertaining to repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain inventory of necessary parts, tools and equipment needed to perform their job duties.
• Receive deliveries of tools, equipment and supplies and transfer them to work stations or other areas as dictated by management.
• Hold or hand off tools, equipment and parts to workers who are actively working on maintenance or repairs.
• To review and close all maintenance requests carried out on a daily basis.
• Work close with management team to solve the technical issues.

Qualification:

• Minimum 5 years’ hotel or catering experience in Maintenance department, of which a minimum of 3 years in a Supervisory role in Gulf.
• Graduate/ Diploma in Engineering and expertise in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Candidates with previous experience in repairing and maintenance of kitchen and Laundry Equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point. Good communication skills.
• Strategic thinking, planning, forecasting and skill for negotiation.
