We are currently recruiting for a Logistics and Community Liaison Manager to join our Construction business on a major project in Central London. Accountabilities Ability to pre plan full site wide logistics for bids, tenders won projects. Traffic Management, Crane locations, hoists, welfare etc. Ability to plan, develop, procure manage a full-on site off-site logistics package the appointed logistics contractor. On site off-site consolidation centre material holding etc. First port of call for all initial introductions from all project enquiries. Newsletters, open days…and general enquiries. Stake holder management – introduce programmes and construction sequences to any neighbour or local businesses management of the impact of the construction project to the surrounding area. Daily coordination over all site activities. Strong leadership discipline to ensure right time, right place on a day-to-day basis. Holistic overview of all construction site activities, establishing maximum efficiencies over all site activities. Support to Construction director in all construction areas. Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers Enforcing a strong discipline and industry law, regulations and company policy. What you will bring Experience delivering construction logistics packages on major construction projects. Comfortable operating in a tier 1 contracting environment Strong stakeholder management skills Team builder with a no-nonsense approach and a high achiever.
