Providing advice and support to managers and staff in the areas of employee relations, industrial relations, and immigration to achieve continuous improvement in the group, and to assist the agencies to achieve their desired culture. The People and Culture Advisor also plays a role in the support on a number of identified projects for the wider Publicis Groupe. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide advice on a range of people-related matters including employment relations and policy interpretationProvide coaching and training to managers on best practice people approaches in order to effectively manage team members.Monitor and review people policies and guidelines to identify and propose updates and/or amendments.Act as a point of contact for and coordinate the sponsorship, visa, residency application process and associated queriesEscalation point for onboarding and exiting employees, in partnership with the PC CoordinatorParticipate in various PC related projects across the GroupeChampion the WHS process and guidelines across the agency (ensuring relevant First Aid and Fire Wardens always trained).Assist in the organisation of cultural and social events across the agency.Act as a cultural ambassador for the Groupe and agencies.Support in administration duties such as reporting payroll where needed.Provide feedback to managers on effectiveness of people management SKILLS AND EXPERIENCETertiary level qualifications in HR or have equivalent experience from a similar role.3+ years’ practical HR generalist experience (preferably within the media industry although this is not essential).  At least 1 year in an advisor capacity.Knowledge of Employee Relations in Australia WHS practices and previous experience guiding managers through related processesKnowledge of best practice HR policies, procedures and performance management. Experience managing, processing and advising on visa related matters is essential.Experience in delivering impeccable team member/ stakeholder service.Experience with handling sensitive information with discretionIntermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).Is numbers savvy and proficient with calculation. BEHAVIOURSA proactive interest in contemporary HR practicesWillingness and eagerness to get involved in new learning opportunitiesAttention to detail that is second to noneStrong interpersonal skills with an empathetic natureAble to provide solutions and think outside of the boxAble to think on the spot and manage difficult situations with professionalismA collaborative team member who thrives on working with othersA true professional with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesStrong organisation skills with a love for being one step ahead Publicis Groupe believes that our people are our greatest asset.
