The Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for controlling of FLSmidth cement entities in China. This includes ensuring that financial reporting is completed accurately and on time, performing financial analysis, assisting in the budget and estimate process, overseeing the internal and external activities of record keeping and reporting to management and Group Finance. Job scope: In support of the local and group business partner, assists in the coordination, preparation, and analysis of annual budget and quarterly estimates. Oversees the month-end close process by reviewing business results, prepared documents from FSSC, and provides analysis of Net Working Capital elements including WIP, Inventory, AR, and AP. Ensures the quality and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting using HFM (Hyperion) and validation of the quality of the underlying data prepared by FLSmidth financial shared service center. Leading annual external audit for their respective entities. Provide ad hoc analytical support as required, to include preparation of financial models to support business cases. Develops system reports for managerial reporting and analysis. Administers and ensures compliance of corporate policies, IFRS and local statutory requirements. Perform balance sheet reviews with management report out. What you bring BS/Accounting/BSc/MBA or equivalent education Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience as a Controller. Self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving roles and responsibilities. Advanced Excel knowledge. Attention to detail, problem-solving and strong organization skills. Excellent written, oral and communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative decision-making environment.
