Reporting to theSenior Manager,Retirement Living, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retirement village in accordance with NSW Retirement Villages Act and our organisational policies and procedures.

Emmaus Retirement Village is a wonderful, established village with 23 units, set in beautiful bushland surrounds. An exceptional opportunity exists for a village coordinator to make an impact by engaging with residents in our community and to foster our team which is driven by passion for our residents.Your responsibilities will include:Actively promoting and supporting Catholic Healthcare’s mission to promote the life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communitiesCo-ordination of all retirement village operationsManaging the village budgetAssisting residents to maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy, choice and quality of life maintaining effective inter-personal relations with residents and their familiesEnsuring the village is safe and risk freeCompliance with all policies and procedures and statutory and regulatory requirementsThe ideal applicant will have the ability to foster positive relationships with residents, their families, community organisations, and key internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will have; High level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.Strong focus on customer satisfaction.Knowledge of the NSW Retirement Villages legislation (desirable)An understanding of the budget processIntermediate skills usingthe Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Previous experience in retirement living or hospitality (desirable)Empathy and understanding of the needs of residents' and their familiesSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritise to achieve KPI's;Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19Who we are:
