Responsible for delivering a superior Customer experience to Maersk customers and the execution of all operations tasks on time and on plan to support our Customers success within the Air product. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead Air Export to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all airfreight operations activities under file management for our customers in the Customer Service Operations (CSO) department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airfreight operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Oversee all file management activities post-booking, including documentation, system updates, and operational finance. Communicate proactively with customer service in case of exceptions, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Support customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling, providing expertise and guidance as needed. Act as an escalation point between customer service and operations, providing a seamless interface between the two departments. Collaborate with airfreight team members to ensure efficient and effective operations, providing support and guidance as needed. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing changes that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Provide training and development opportunities to team members, enabling them to grow and develop their skills and knowledge. Manage and control operational costs, ensuring that expenses are within budget and that the team is operating efficiently. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination. We are looking for: Experience in airfreight operations, preferably in a leadership role. Strong understanding of airfreight operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation. Leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating teams. Strong and internal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
