We are seeking a Research Engineer to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to 3D Character Modeling. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for modeling and texturing proprietary IP characters, creating character models with a thorough understanding of human anatomy and material properties Design and texture character clothing models independently Job Requirements: Master’s degree or above in relevant disciplines Ability to hand-paint textures Strong foundation in art and sculpting, with a scientific and systematic grasp of human anatomy Demonstrate expertise in UV mapping and texturing Skilled in the use of tools such as Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter for model creation and texture design We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
