Renewable Energy / Hydrogen Candidate Profile: Possess relevant Bachelor and PhD degrees from reputable universities. With more than 5 years' experience in a senior academic leadership role or senior company leadership role will be an advantage. Possess a successful and proven track record of teaching achievements including academic/industry leadership and team building. Experienced in cross-disciplinary initiatives and collaboration. History of successful training and development of early career researchers, including PhD students. Strong network with renowned international entities and organizations will be a plus. Demonstrated research achievements in the fields of renewable energy or/and hydrogen. Possible areas are but not limited to renewable energy generation/transmission/storage, H2 production/storage and transportation/utilization/ infrastructure and safety, H2 gas turbine, etc Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Possess a strong research publication record with demonstrated leadership in conducting inter-disciplinary research and collaboration with industry. History of successful grant achievements Experience with the related industry and/or academic administration will be advantageous. The successful appointee will be appointed as Full Professor with a joint appointment with both the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and the School of Materials Science and Engineering. The appointee is expected to be involved in teaching courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects and conduct research.
