Job Title : Industrial IOT Data Analyst Division: Weir Minerals Location : Bangalore, India. Hybrid Purpose of Role: Focusing in IoT and Industry 4.0 you will work in a team with leaders in different areas like reliability and/or metallurgy, to better understand the problems or issues the equipment is having at customer site. You will be the first person monitoring the data from our Weir Minerals Digital ecosystem and taking the decision of what will be the next steps when you find an anomaly or an issue, and you will work with the team to diagnose and help resolve the issue to avoid unwanted stoppages or/and proactively look for strategies to increase OEE. The Digital Industrial iot Data Analyst ensures that all minerals digital customer facing solutions are connected and operating properly. You will work closely with the larger digital community, ensuring that digital innovation is always targeting resolving the needs and desires of both the global businesses as well as end-customers. Key Responsibilities: Be the ‘go-to’ specialist for connected customers and provide support to our internal people. Ensuring business and customer needs and desires are being conveyed back to relevant specialists. Working with Case Management tool to properly create customer related cases, assign tasks to the correspondent specialist to track the case and ensure the case is closed with satisfaction from customer. Responsible for the creation of periodic reportability for our internal specialists to drive conversations with customers. Supporting with identifying case studies on equipment related issues and solutions driven from digital to expose around all organization. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: A Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, or related) At least Vibration Analysis Category II Certification Previous experience required: A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a IOT Data Analyst At least 3 years of Industrial Control System Experience (PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI) and/or condition monitoring solutions and/or advanced process control. More than 2 years of experience in condition-based monitoring, data acquisition and data analysis Practical Experience with Osisoft/Aveva PI and/or Azure IoT Suite, PowerBI, Xmpro, Seeq, or any other open source systems (preferred). Practical and theoretical knowledge of mining equipment and processes (preferred) knowledge of reliability and maintenance planning in mining environments (preferred) Exposure to operations-oriented analytical and methodological services Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.
