As an Inside Sales Executive (Small Law) you will be responsible for promoting and selling WestLaw and Practical Law products through outbound telephone calls with new and existing small law firm customers within an assigned territory.  Each territory consists of a large base of small/solo (1-10 attorney) firms. This position supports the efforts of the Small Law, Legal Unit organization within Thomson Reuters Legal by growing our Small Law WestLaw (Core) Footprint and retaining existing customers. Note: This is an inside sales remote (work from home) role and can be based anywhere, with a preference to have candidates located near any of these Hub office locations: Ann Arbor, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Dallas (for potential hybrid option). About the Role In this opportunity as an Inside Sales Executive you will: Drive Results: Individually manage inbound leads, prospect for new opportunities and consistently apply superior salesmanship using consultative and solution-based sales Closing: Achieve and exceed company and personal sales and telephone activity goals through negotiations and product offering within set parameters Sales Process: Participate in pre-sales calls and demonstrate online products using web-based tools (Microsoft Teams, etc.), via telephone and in person Relationship Management: Actively contributes to and works responsibly in a team environment, including collaborating with other Field Sales Reps Client Management Product Proposition: Cultivate, maintain, and engage customers on business products in order to promote usage and revenue growth objectives Reporting: Accurately forecast sales and opportunities within Salesforce Client and Market Intelligence: Provide territory market and competitive information to Thomson Reuters for internal business decisions and positions About You You may be a fit for the Inside Sales Executive role if your background includes: Minimum of 2 years' successful sales experience in professional B2B environments (*additional years of experience strongly preferred) Proven track record of sales success, fast growth and consistently achieving performance at 100%+ Working knowledge of sales process, methods and techniques Proven track record of developing new customer accounts requiring heavy prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting and closing ability Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products and/or services Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations in-person and virtually (video) such as using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack Proven organization and time management skills and ability to work independently Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall strong technical aptitude High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree with focus in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred What's in it for you?
