We are hiring a Technical Delivery Manager for Content and AI Solutions. An exciting opportunity to deliver strategic technology solutions within the Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model Space. The person must have skills to engage with partners across the business, lead sophisticated programmes across multiple Technology Stacks, work through ambiguity to provide clarity to the technology team. This role is accountable for technology delivery and associated finances related to their portfolio area, risk, issue, dependency management. Responsibilities Technology Management in alignment with Workstream Lead and Product Counterparts, ensuring a balanced backlog of commitments Management and delivery of technology product roadmap delivery plan (results and landmark commitments) for their portfolio. Implementation of remediation activities as and when required. Management of technology budget forecast and actual Management of delivery resources and capacity management, ensuring a consistent delivery Facilitation and coordination of Quarterly Planning event (PI Planning) Provide commitments in the quarterly planning cycles by working with the Product Owners, Project Manager, Product Managers, and other key partners and customers to prioritise, validate and estimate quarterly deliverables Close engagement with the architecture teams to ensure product capabilities are designed in line with the strategic end-state architecture and NFRs are built into the delivery plans Track and actively coordinate flow of work into the engineering squads avoiding/mitigating unplanned work which could impact sprint commitments Critical deliverables Delivery of commitments within their portfolio including reporting, capacity management, financial management and planning. Adoption of company agile practices within the team Delivery on committed results that must be delivered to support achievement of overall business objectives Management of mitigation and resolution for all risk and issues Coaching and mentoring Impact Assure the right work is being done at the right time to achieve a Business objective – within budget: prioritization, decomposition, impediments, and cross-impacts being addressed, is work ready to be pulled by the team. Critical metrics Delivery of quarterly commitments for associated portfolio Delivery within allocated portfolio budget Vendor management Demand management and capacity forecasting Knowledge Behaviours Technical/ job functional knowledge Programme and Portfolio management experience Roadmap definition and ownership Financial planning monitoring Business / Sector expertise Project Programme management within Financial Services Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal to Senior Business Leaders and Technology Team members. Transformation experience, in particular implementing and supporting team members as we navigate the change curve. Understanding the needs demands of a large global corporation Leadership management experience Accountable for portfolio delivery and the management of finances Ability to lead large teams of programme and project managers. Development of team members – objective setting, 1-2-1’s and Quarterly Connects Ability to clearly and concisely articulate the vision to Technical Delivery Managers, Project Managers Team Experience in handling programmes and projects using Agile and Waterfall practices preferred. Adapting approach as appropriate.
