Test Technician Weir Minerals St. Louis, MO Onsite Purpose of Role: The Test Technician is responsible for performing duties required to conduct the engineering testing functions of the company. They will utilize LabVIEW data acquisition software to execute tests and manage test data, review bill of materials to ensure accuracy and design centrifugal and axial pumps. Key Responsibilities: Focus Area: Conduct and approve certified performance tests on pumps to ensure proper operation, to include providing production test results for inclusion into customer documentation, writing engineering test reports, analyzing test data, and preparing certification form to be filed. Focus Area: Define instrumentation, software and hardware requirements for future testing plans Focus Area: Utilize LabVIEW software in the development and execution of production and new product development testing on pumps and valves. Focus Area: Define and improve the test equipment, procedures, and software used within the manufacturing testing and new product development process. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above. Associates degree or technical school certificate 1+ years of relevant experience/training Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
