Job Description Summary [What the role is] This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Power Engineering in the School of Engineering. [What you wil be working on] As a Lecturer in Power Engineering, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessment and performing tasks for modules related to Electrical Engineering, specifically on power systems or renewable energy. Work with industry to establish collaboration opportunities in projects or internships. Support student development in the area of education. [What we are looking for] Pre-requisites: Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years working experience in the areas of energy storage system, power electronics or power engineering. Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
