A fashion store is looking to hire an Assistant Logistics Officer responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of items and ensuring that all products are moved in a timely and efficient manner from the place of origin to the destination. The Assistant Logistics Officer could also be required to assist with procurement activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the delivery of purchased items to the end customer in a timely and efficient manner.Liaise between the store representatives, the social media manager, and the riders to ensure correct item(s) is/are delivered to the correct recipient(s) on time.Keeps record of orders made and goods delivered and submit daily to the Store Manager list/pictures of pending items needed to fulfil any pending customer order.Take pictures of goods delivered before delivery to ensure evidence of the condition of goods.Properly package and label all items to be delivered.Check daily on order status until they are delivered.Hand over items to be delivered to the company riders and track riders to ensure items are delivered to the correct recipient.Constantly update customers with their tracking information once their order has left and follow up with customers to ensure the correct items have been delivered.Liaise with the store manager, to ensure that correct items are processed and delivered to the correct recipient(s) on time.Interact with 3rd party logistics providers as necessary.Ensure that all logistics processes are in line with the company’s policy on the delivery of items.Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required to the Logistics OfficerProvide additional support as required to the Logistics Officer.
