It will also promote sustainability awareness and plan, organize and track sustainability initiatives and programmes to integrate into our education, research, and community engagement efforts. You will be leading a strategic, dynamic team to formulate sustainability strategies, identify sustainability related solutions, work with both internal and external stakeholders to shape and implement the University’s policy to drive sustainability and decarbonization efforts. The Key Responsibilities are: Integrate NTU sustainability and decarbonization initiatives seamlessly across the local, international domains as well as RD pilot projects; Strategise and co-ordinate sustainability efforts across various inter-agencies collaborations, studies, discussions on climate change, green growth, carbon accounting and environmental sustainability; Advise and assist NTU’s academic units and research institutions in implementing their sustainability strategies and initiatives; Lead initiatives on profiling NTU’s sustainability (target setting, benchmarking, reporting, etc.); Connect and synergize existing initiatives and initiate new activities/aspirations in sustainability; Deepen industry engagement in Sustainability along with other entities (e.g., GAIN); and Support and promote NTU’s sustainability initiatives with internal and external stakeholders; Project budget management will be handled by this new hire; and leads a team. The Key Requirements are: Degree in field of Engineering, Business, Social sciences, or design/architecture relate sustainability (PhD, Masters preferred) Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in sustainability related industry/field (such as energy, carbon footprint, water, food, waste, climate etc.) Proven track record of managing multiple teams and projects on a multi organizational level in the sustainability field. Possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire the working team and stakeholders Independent, technically competent self-starter with a high level of confidence, energy, perseverance, and business sense.
