Project Title: The Instrument Pilot Study for Research on Early Education and Development in Singapore (REEDS-Pilot) [CRCD 02/22 SH] Project Introduction: The current project has two main goals. The first goal is to validate teacher-completed instruments for tracing children's development in fundamental skills and competencies from ages 3-7 years old. The second goal is to create a website to recruit participants and disseminate findings for the upcoming large-scale longitudinal study Research on Early Education and Development in Singapore (REEDS). Requirements Essential: PhD’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related fields. Data analysis (e.g., IRT, factor analysis, SEM, mixed effects model, latent profile analysis, latent growth modeling, meta-SEM modeling) Software experience (SPSS, R, or mPlus) Managerial and supervisory experience Excellent communication (verbal and written English) and inter-personal skills Self-directed and able to work independently within given deadlines Proactive, willing to learn, reliable and able to manage concurrent tasks in a timely manner Preferred: Good command of English Prior experience with mentoring and guiding part-time RAs with data collection and various research tasks (e.g., data entry, literature review, etc.) Prior experience with conducting literature review and willing to learn Meta-Analysis Responsibilities Conduct data analysis Conduct project-related administrative work Supervise research staffs Conduct systematic literature search and literature reviews Assist to conduct children’s outcome tests, surveys and interviews Organize research data, maintain research records, and document research progress Disseminate research findings via assisting with preparation of academic publications (e.g., conferences, papers, books), research reports, and digital media posts Perform other tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator / Co-PIs Application Applicants (external and internal) will apply via Workday Closing Date Closing date for advertisements will be set to 28 calendar days from date of posting.
