[What the role is] This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Human Capital Management in the School of Business Accountancy. [What you will be working on] Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Play a pivotal role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving landscape of Human Resources (HR). Your HR analytics and technology expertise will enable students to harness data-driven insights and leverage cutting-edge tools for effective HR decision-making. Deliver engaging and interactive course programmes on HR analytics, HR technology and related topics such as workforce planning, data analysis, and emerging HR technologies to Pre-employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education Training (CET) students Develop and review course materials that align with industry trends and academic standards Engage students in active learning through case studies, simulations, and other experiential learning activities Evaluate student progress using a variety of assessments, including tests, exams, assignments, and group projects Apply and adopt new pedagogies or learning technologies to enhance curricula delivery Advise and mentor students on academic and career-related matters Collaborate with fellow lecturers and industry professionals to enhance the quality of HR education [What we are looking for] At least 3 years of relevant industry experience Strong professional experience in HR analytics and/or HR technology In-depth knowledge of HR analytics methodologies, statistical analysis, data visualisation techniques and emerging HR technologies A nurturing mindset with a passion for working with youths and adult learners in both the full-time diploma and part-time programmes Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner to students Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team of academic professionals A commitment to continuous learning and networking to stay current with industry developments and bring industry into the curriculum Additional pre-requisites that are advantageous: Experience in HR/People Sustainability Prior teaching experience The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
