Partner with the best In the role of (Horizontal Pump) HPump Sustaining Engineer, you will be responsible for: Understand component and general arrangement drawings, BOMs, wiring schematics, and applied geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD T) features. Interpret and communicate the technical requirements of the engineering data in support to the HPump production activities. Possess basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components in an effort to provide technical support for Quality and Procurement initiatives. Understand tooling, manufacturing methods, special processes, and/or test specifications regarding the fabrication of a component used in conjunction with the HPump system. Professionally communicate and work with customers to support Customer Witness Test activities on HPump systems. Provide sustaining engineering technical support regarding all aspects of the HPump product line (as required) to the cross functional teams. This effort may include the following support tasks: Troubleshoot HPump equipment and/or the components to determine the root cause analysis (RCA) and the application of necessary corrective actions (CA). Provide technical direction to manufacturing, quality, procurement, and manufacturing engineering teams relating to all technical aspects of the HPump products. Communicate and professionally work with vendors to resolve HPump related component non-conformance conditions. Provide revisions (when necessary) to drawings, bill of materials and associated technical specifications in support of the HPump product line. Seek out and implement methods to reduce cost and/or improve the product. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university. Minimum 3 years of experience in an Engineering position. Experience and understanding of the SolidWorks 3D CAD software. Experience with rotating equipment and manufacturing processes in a production environment. Desired Characteristics Proficient in multiple MS Office applications. Prior work experience with HPump manufacturing and rotating equipment a plus. Experience in SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system a plus.
