As an Intern, you will be responsible for: Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained As an intern, you will: actively participate in the design and development of rotating equipment for energy transition applications, both new units and upgrades (centrifugal and axial compressor, turboexpanders, reciprocating compressors, innovative rotating equipment, turbines, covering the machine and plant integration). be responsible for interpreting of the customer technical specifications and company documentation to provide engineering solutions. Depending on the role you may be asked to generate drawings, models, run simulations, calculations, analysis, etc. Depending on the domain the following software may be used NX, Ansys, Hysys, UniSim, TeamCenter, and internal engineering calculations tools. You'll participate in technically focused training, team meetings and work on projects and present your results. During your internship you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure that you have a valuable learning experience. We offer internships for the duration of 3-6 months in an engineering organization of Industrial Energy Technology (IET). Our engineering team participate in the design and development of rotating equipment for energy transition applications (gas turbines, centrifugal and axial compressor, turboexpanders, reciprocating compressors, innovative rotating equipment, covering the machine and plant integration). The following engineering disciplines are available for the internships: Mechanical design, Combustion, Metallurgy, Systems Operability, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Performance, Rotor Dynamics, Structural Analysis, Controls and Automation, Analytics App Development. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Be currently enrolled or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s level degree program in mechanical engineering, power engineering, materials engineering including welding, chemical process engineering.
