Partner with the best As a Document Controller, your primary objective will be to efficiently handle incoming customer specifications for BRUSH Powergen Generators and associated equipment. Your role will involve processing these specifications in a timely manner to ensure accurate tenders are issued. This will contribute to the overall efficiency of the tendering process and help meet customer expectations. As Document Controller, you will be responsible for: Effectively assessing the requirements of incoming enquiries within the remit of the role and ensure appropriate action and feedback is given. Working closely with the tendering team to review, collate and organise incoming customer specifications to support the ITO (Inquiry to Order) process. Preparing and managing specification tracking documents to distinguish and trace new specifications vs. revisions. Coordinating with tendering engineers in the UK and overseas to ensure deadlines are met, whilst ensuring an accurate, coherent proposal is submitted to the customer. Uploading and supervising the Tender Approval Form (TAF) sign off process, ensuring timely turnarounds are achieved. Maintaining, in collaborating with the tendering team, the Purchase Order Register and provide feedback to the Tendering Manager with regards the status of pending orders and handover progress. Actively contributing towards continuous business and process improvement. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have the ability to demonstrate and / or show willingness to develop as appropriate to the job role. Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Have ability to work with all recognised IT systems and internet applications. Have high levels of computer literacy with the ability to maintain accurate records. Have good organisational skills and smart working methods. Have knowledge of document control procedures and practises. Be able to read and interpret specifications and customer requirements at a basic level.
