Through focus and proactive approach, it requires a robust understanding of project drivers, technical challenges and overarching parameters. Take ownership for leading complex projects As systems engineering Manager, you will be part of the leadership of a global engineering team and will be managing a team of Subsea Production System engineers.The role provides technical and functional leadership of regional pursuits, tenders and systems engineering management for project execution. As Systems Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: Developing internal systems and processes for undertaking engineering tasks leading to safe and successful delivery of jobs. Seeking out and promoting application of new technology to enable promotion and positioning of Baker Hughes to the market Qualifications and Requirements. Creating of visible and up to date systems engineering demand profile for region (by country). Creating and leading regional systems engineering hubs (client proximity, country specific) as needed by the business to enable front end, tendering and execution of systems engineering across all project phases. leading Baker Hughes ‘Bid to Execute’ program definition between Tollgate (opportunity identification – liaison with front end engineering manager) and Tollgate 17 (project close-out) Assisting in preparing proposals and technical tenders as a technical peer checker and approver Supporting the OFE commercial organization in identifying and pursuing opportunities and project enablement. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have Master’s Degree or bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience Have strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written. Have practical knowledge of all aspects of the oil and gas system production assurance and integrated production modelling capabilities. Have broad knowledge of processes, methods and procedures within project and engineering management. Demonstrable depth of experience in engineering and people leadership within a multi-disciplinary environment including project planning, executing, customer interfacing, and close-out. Significant Domain expertise across the following: Field architecture/Flow assurance/process engineering/Subsea Production Systems/Risers, flowlines and pipelines/Control systems/Constructability and installation. Ability to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts and deduce solutions. Availability to travel internationally for project needs and for meetings and interfaces.
