W.F. Baird Associates is seeking a dedicated, creative, and approachable CAD Drafting Technician for civil and structural engineering. The candidate will work with engineers, project managers, and other technical staff. Work will involve preparation of civil engineering drawings, gathering data, and presenting information in graphical form. This role will require the candidate to produce quality work, while meeting the budget and schedules of multiple concurrent projects.Job ResponsibilitiesLay out drawings sheets and drawing sets.Prepare design and construction drawings, base maps, figures, renderings and other graphics for projects using commercial software and internal protocols and client standards.Perform tasks such as digitizing, copying and scanning of drawings, prints and maps.Assist a diverse team of international engineers and scientist with all phases of projectsPerform other duties as assigned.
