Position Summary The purpose of this role is to evaluate and generate user information solutions by creating, implementing and maintaining Manual and Automated test scenarios for use in Quality Assurance testing. This position is within Acadia. Acadia is wholly owned by LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and is part of its Post Trade division. We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our Quality Assurance team in our Bangalore office. Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, the position oversees Manual/Automation testing of the Risk Management area (front to back) of Acadia’s products which specializes in the analysis of trade capture, monitoring, and summarization along with collateral management. This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen technical, business and product skills. The position requires someone with a strong working knowledge of finance with exposure to quality assurance methodologies or IT. The ideal candidate would also possess the motivation and desire to work in a challenging environment. Role Responsibilities Creates test plans, data, procedures, manual and automated scripts. Writes complete and accurate descriptions on software issues. Identifies and suggests improvements focused on defect prevention. Analysis of automated test results and failures. Ensures test environment reflects business requirements for test execution. Executes manual and/or automated test scripts for most complex projects. Works with project team to establish testing entrance and exit criteria. Ensures execution of project regression test tasks. Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Analyzes and reports test status and results. Work in close collaboration with both our Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure the inclusion of enhancements requested by clients in the software and ensure delivery. Defines regression tests, and production verification and validation for future projects. Experience and Qualifications Required Working knowledge of financial concepts such as risk, margin agreements, collateral, equity, credit and trade valuation. Understanding of the concepts of market risk and collateral management. Expertise with automated QA technologies. Windows, Excel, Word, JIRA, Postman, and Karate Ability to do some basic troubleshooting to determine if an error is the result of user error. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to shift priorities as the workload necessitates. Ability to work independently but also can work as part of a team. Ability to work in a Western time zone. Minimum 8 years Financial Industry Experience. Minimum 8 years experience in IT or Quality Assurance. Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or IT.
