Our team is currently based in Melbourne, however this role has the flexibility to be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.As a Senior Rail Operations Modeller at AECOM your work will involve:Conducting rail operations modelling such as timetable analysis, strategic assessments, dynamic simulations, infrastructure updating and travel time evaluationsUsing RailSys and Excel to undertake rail operational modellingLeading projects and supporting other team members to learn and developEngaging with stakeholders and project teams to source information, clarify issues and communicate findingsDeveloping reports and presentations to communicate outcomes to a wide range of stakeholdersContributing to proposals and other business development activities to support the Rail Strategy and Operations team and wider AECOM team.You will work closely with our clients on a wide range of projects across Australia.You are likely to work with other transport modellers, engineers and project managers on large multidisciplinary projects and engage with different disciplines involved in project delivery.You will have opportunities to support other advisory teams within AECOM such as the Strategic and Operational Modelling and Transport Planning teams and to work with the wider AECOM business in areas such as project management, the development of relationships with key clients, business support and in various committees.
