Job Title: Operational Technology Systems Engineer Division: Weir Minerals Australia Location: Artarmon Onsite Purpose of Role: We are looking for an Operational Technology Systems Engineer to join our Smart Factory team. You will be responsible for maintaining current smart factory systems and actively involved in the development and implementation of new Industry 4.0 initiatives. Key Responsibilities: · Focus Area: Management, maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems · Focus Area: Manage and implement big data solutions and standardise data capture across a variety of inputs · Focus Area: Liaise with stakeholders to select and implement suitable equipment for digital transformation. This includes sensor and control systems, predictive maintenance, machine learning and a suite of real-time systems. · Focus Area: Review and benchmark new and emerging technologies that can be used to enhance the Artarmon facility · Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering. · 3 - 5+ years' experience in an operational technology role with hands on experience in a manufacturing environment. . Sensor and hardware rationalisation for harsh environments. . Real-time control system experience including object-oriented PLC programming. . Strong ability across a suite of programming languages required (Structured Text, C++, REST). Node.js and React is favourable. . Database (relational and time-series) implementation experience with a proficiency in SQL desirable. . Ability to create CAD models and drawings for manufacturing. . Demonstrated understanding of methods for mitigating risk in system design. · Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
