Role profile: Developing and delivering effective internal engagement activities to inspire and motivate people in our global business is a critical growth driver at LSEG. This new role will be crucial to support a group of internal communications professionals located at key LSEG sites around the world. We’re looking for someone who is a natural connector with a deep understanding of what drives people productivity. Someone not happy with the status quo and driven by excellence. And someone who wants to create and embed best practice, is a strong people leader and understands the complex nuances of different cultures. ROLE SUMMARY: This newly created Senior Manager role will report into the Head of Internal Communications and be key in shaping how we deliver effective internal communications (IC) and engagement activities across our global network of employees and contractors. An experienced and passionate IC professional with a deep understanding of global campaigns, omnichannel, and how to create modern impactful content. Combined with strong people leadership, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple projects. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Lead a team of internal communications professionals who are developing and delivering strategic IC activities for specific geographies, in support of business objectives, contributing to the overall Group internal communications strategy Support, where necessary, any external comms requirements to enhance employer brand in specific locations Work with the global internal communications lead and other senior managers to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities to drive consistency and quality of communications. Including best practice, knowledge share, streamlining of processes and planning Provide specialist advice to leaders for specific geographies as agreed Supports team members to manage communications demand, moving to a more self-serve model where possible and having a view of resources and skills within the team (where applicable) Understand team capacity in order to flex team time to other business critical work Oversee local amplification of priority global initiatives, ensuring work is carried out in an efficient but effective way – ‘create once, use many times’ Interprets the impact and success of IC activities, with a strong focus on outcomes and an ongoing culture of continuous improvement Support a high-performance team culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching - providing support to less experienced colleagues Lives and breathes our organisational values every day WHAT YOU'LL BRING: The ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing and encouraging leaders to use ‘everyday speak’ Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to flex style to get the best out of people and stakeholders Strategic thinking Proficiency in digital channels and creating content across digital and non-digital channels Highly collaborative and a passion for people WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN: A chance to work as part of a growing business in an energized team that’s making a big difference.
