What Will You Be Doing:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) role is responsible for various aspects of patient care management, including the application of nursing process, clinical supervision, research involvement, consultation, and education. As an NP, you will work collaboratively with physicians and exercise independent decision-making abilities to provide expert care to patients across the healthcare continuum.

Work as an integral part of the medical team, reporting to the medical director and chief nursing officer (CNO).
Follow the Nurse Practitioner Standardized Procedures as per the California Board of Registered Nursing regulations, ensuring patient care delivery aligns with CSHS goals.
Provide individualized care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care/Practice, the Plan for Provision of Nursing Care, and relevant hospital policies.
Adapt to the specific needs of different age groups (neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) in terms of communication, safety measures, and assessment.


Experience Requirements:

Preferred: 1+ year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred: 3+ years of nursing experience.


Educational/Licensure/Certifications Requirements:

Master of Nursing Degree
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
Current State of California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License
National Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Current DEA license and Furnishing Number or eligibility to obtain
Current ACLS certification required
