This position provides proactive leadership, direction, single point accountability and technical expertise required to achieve and sustain optimum reliability, maintainability, and useful life for the manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes. This position will be responsible for the efficient and effective use of planning and scheduling all resources to conduct maintenance activities which result in minimum downtime and maximum productivity. Essential Responsibilities Review all planned work request from assigned area and determine validity and accuracy of information and engage the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority. Reviews work request for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion date, proper lead times, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable), proper authorization, and discuss details with originator of the work order. Identifies work requiring Change Management or engineering design and reviews them with engineering department. Review the work to be performed and determine the best way to accomplish the work. Perform a long-term maintenance plan. Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the preventive maintenance program Scheduling all planned maintenance activity at the site. Participate in the PRE SOP meetings to confirm appropriate activities completing. Lead planning and scheduling activities for Shutdown and Slowdown. Monitor inventory indicator of Maintenance’s spare parts. Controlling inventory budget accuracy, turns, and other inventory management measurements .Complete Hazardous work permit Lead problem solving efforts in maintenance and manufacturing area. Investigates technical problems and recommend solutions. Lead investigations of Maintenance, GMP, Quality, Safety and Environmental issues and address implementations of corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence through the SAP system \ Quality notifications Work order tracking and reports in monthly basis. Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned to EXIM – Excellence in Maintenance Performing administrative duties in the Computerized System (SAP). Writes and/or update working instructions for new and/or changed processes. Verify validity of existing manufacturing and/or facilities working instructions. Participate and promote activities with the Business Excellence Team that contribute toward continuous improvement using established lean tools. Assure compliance with Preventive Maintenance Program, Calibration system program and OEE. Lead 5S initiatives in maintenance area. Maintain a clean and orderly workplace in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Verify the associate and visitor compliance with safety equipment usage. Lead/Support Validation of process and equipment as established by KORE. Provide support to commercialization initiatives as required. Investigates technical problems and recommend solutions. Lead investigations of GMP, Quality, Safety and Environmental issues and address implementations of corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence. Lead and support the execution of projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. Lead digital initiatives to automate processes. Recommends and monitor performance of outside contractors, when required for maintenance or repair of equipment. Implement and monitor the properties permitting control programs, emergency preparedness and team safety practices ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. Coordinate the permits needed to do the work order. Assist in managing the projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. Select contracted services as required, monitor performance per scopes of work and contractual agreements. Generates and provides management reports on topics tracked such as overtime, work backlog, equipment repair history and cost, trouble calls, work orders, and customer satisfaction. Identifies opportunities to improve process, planning, or performance through analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science, Electronic Technology. Bilingual (English and Spanish). Experience: Three years of experience in Beverage Manufacturing or similar type industry. Must be Proficiency in MS Office (WORDS, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project), Power BI, Minitab, strong knowledge in SAP, Statistical Process Control, Problem Solving Methodologies, Maintenance management, TPM, Lean Six Sigma Equipment Specifications, Equipment\System Qualifications (Validations) and Testing methods. Generate electronically applications like power apps.
