Ask around, AECOM is a people focused business.We have a unique opportunity for anEnvironmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer to join our Ground Remediation Services Team based in Newcastle and to take the next step in their career.This position will provide experience and a greater level of responsibility working on a diverse array of high profile, major infrastructure assessment projects across a range of sectors, including department of defence, mining, transport (road/rail/ports/air), water utilities, energy, oil and gas, and urban renewal property sectors.Working amongst a team of peers and alongside our clients, while learning first-hand from our in-house senior advisors and technical leaders. You will primarily assist with fieldwork and reporting aspects of multiple concurrent contamination investigations and remediation projects of varying size and complexity.You will be required to multi-task, prepare scopes of work and estimates, deliver technical reports independently, lead field teams, supervise remediation works, manage subcontractors and liaise with our clients.
