Our mission is to empower utility companies and consumers with innovative technology for better resource management and sustainability.Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and programming utility metering devices. The role involves conducting site inspections, providing health checks, advising our operations team on issue resolution, and preparing quotations. Additionally, the Field Technician will support external contractors with field operations, assist customers with technical queries, and provide remote support on our platform. (This could take place Monday - Sunday depending on Client Operations)Key Responsibilities:Utility Metering Device Installation: Efficiently install various types of metering devices at client sites, ensuring they are properly integrated with our SaaS platform.Device Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with metering devices, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to client operations.Device & Meter Programming: Configure and program metering devices according to specific client needs and industry standards.Health Checks: Conduct regular health checks on installed devices, identify potential issues, and advise the operations team on resolutions and necessary modifications.Site Inspection & Quotation: Perform detailed site inspections to understand client requirements and prepare accurate quotations for service provision.Support External Contractors: Act as a liaison between the company and external contractors, ensuring field operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently.Customer Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, addressing their queries and ensuring they are satisfied with our solutions.Remote Support: Assist customers remotely with any platform-related issues, guiding them through solutions and ensuring their continuous operation.Qualifications:Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a field engineer or similar role, preferably in the utility industry.Strong knowledge of utility metering devices and related technology.Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to provide high-quality customer service.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Drivers License EssentialWillingness to travel to client sites as needed.Salary:Market related (Entry level) - based on experienceWhat We Offer:A dynamic work environment with a culture of innovation and collaboration.
